I believe in this. Oh, let me start over. Hey, Dewuan it's JL. I believe that people get caught up in the story. They like the story. They they appreciate and value the story. And others who want to make sure that they have the right information might do a little fact checking to say, hey, is this true? I know I've come across messages on social media. I'll use death as an example

Because statistically, the Oxygen Network, they could play a lot of crime related stuff of people who survived their domestic abuse, et cetera. And yes, statistically there may be facts in there, but what does that have to do with your story? Right? So that can be the danger sometimes in our stories

Hey, Dewuan wanted to respond to this thought. This was a great swell. You've mentioned quite a few things. One being biased confirmation, which is pretty much any information, information that you believe simply because it aligns with your belief and you want to believe that it is the truth and it is real

F****** sponsors galore. It was all over the f****** place. Every d*** product was sponsored in there. And they all capitalized on the nostalgia. Domino's went to their old logo but had the same s***** pizza. But anyway, that confirmation bias is real. I'm affected by it, you're affected by it. Hopefully, we can question ourselves at times to think beyond it

On the other hand, which is why I'm bringing this up is that for the most part and I don't understand this myself, people can't decipher between for instance, the meme that you shared, AI and such other things. So I guess that kind of plays a part in a little bit of misinformation and the whole forefront a fact checking period

But I can't tell you how many times people have shared memes with information that was obviously not credible. It was so obvious. But what did it do? It supported their beliefs and their ideology. It's all people need to see that in a text based form that has infographics that look like stuff they see that was real. There you go. That's all they need. Looking factual and sounding factual is enough for most of our society
Now people are curious, like, oh, I wonder why I don't see Asians at the gas station. I wonder why they don't put gas into their cars. I never see them pumping gas into their vehicles. I wonder why. For example, he says, have you ever seen a pregnant Asian lady? People are fans of Angie tape. They start to buy into this idea that Asian women, they do not get pregnant

For them, it's not a big deal, but for everyone else, it can be. And yeah, doing your research is so simple, even like something as simple as Googling. I find that a lot of people ask questions on my Facebook. They'll say, Where do you all know where I can get this or that? I get it. They're really trying to look for maybe like a deal or something or some type of bar again
