Experience…friend or foe?

article image placeholderUploaded by @WarPig73
Good morning, everyone. This is Warpig 73 coming to you from a beautiful Southern California morning. Today's date is Tuesday, 13 September. Today I'd like to talk about experience. Experience is it friend or foe? Is it friend or foe? How does experience come to us? Of what elements is this mighty goddess with a frowning brow composed? What does experience look like to you and what does it mean? Is it recollection? Is it learning from mistakes? Is it reflection?

They die before the promise of the experience that they had maybe to offer is shared with the world. I remember hearing this quote and I may get it wrong do as I say, not as I do. But you know, I think it's do as I do, not as I say, because I made it. I took what life handed to me and I was able to persevere in spite of great. Great. Again topic

Experince & mistakes

When people are lonely or going down the wrong path or coming away from addiction, when they can find themselves in a purposeful experience, they're more likely to stay on the right path and succeed and overcome, even in grief. Before I met my husband, I lost my boyfriend very unexpectedly and he had an underlying heart condition. And in my grief, when I realized I had to overcome, I just became a volunteer, a holic in my community

And I like you have an infinite love for words. And I like you also like to dive into the old school dictionary because there's so many words that we have failed to remember or fail to understand and truly get the importance of context right. And as I was exploring the word purpose many years ago, like Ten, I come across Andy Stanley's Leadership Podcast and he was talking about Purpose. And his description of purpose was a Purpose is a means to an end

Thank you 🙏

But I understand that sometimes we have to battle things that are war wounds, and I know that relates back to some of the original posts that you've been sharing with us warpig, so I know. Anyway, really wonderful group of voices. Thank you so much. You're

Experience is a friend. It depends on the lens you try, you decide to view the experience. Experience is a teacher and it is a teacher with love, care, determination, perseverance. Because experience really wants us to get the lesson, to hone the skill, to understand, to gain wisdom. And so experience will continue to show up in the same form. Might be different situations, it might be different people, but it will be the same form until we master that lesson

@WarPig73: experience(s), a new currency…

One of those, of course, is the value of video. The other is the power of what we have come to understand as social media. And then the last one that we talked about together and had a really prolonged conversation about was the currency of experience because we were both trying to understand hustle culture and why people would take on so many different types of jobs and vocations and side hustles and things like that

And I love the fact that you were talking to one of your mentors, and you guys are having this conversation that kind of correlates to everything else later to have this conversation. So I appreciate your insight. You can tell that you had a really good and I'm envious of your conversation with your mentor, but you can tell that you guys had a really engaged and intimate moment discussing the very word of experience, and I think it's just absolutely wonderful
