Interviewing a friend

Hey, guys. I hope you're doing well. So today I'm interviewing with one of my friends. School friends, actually. So we were in school together and now she's in different college. I'm in different college. We have different professions. Her name is Priyanka and the she is doing psychology. So let's start with asking her some questions about school life, college life and why psychology?

#sayitonswell

@pika
priyanka singhal
@pika · 0:30
Hey Shashank, hope you are doing well. So I chose psychology because this is an end up where we have to focus on mental health. But when we can focus on physical health, why not mental health? Also, you must have heard in newspapers mental illness is now the biggest pandemic in everyone's life. Also, I have always been interested in psychology. The subject where you can understand yourself and other behavioral link address
@SSS135
Shashank Sehgal
@SSS135 · 1:03
India drunka. So psychology is actually very interesting subject. Even I wanted to take it when I was in 10th, you know, afterwards. But the only problem was psychology was either with humanities, which I did not want to take it, or it it was either with the bio and I did not want to take bio as well. So I had no other choice because humanity was not with psychology was only with humanity or science and not with commerce. And I wanted to take commerce
@pika
priyanka singhal
@pika · 1:12

@SSS135

So I remember I used to read self help books and I used to just study about psychology to know myself more, to know my behavior, my personality and to know why I'm thinking about such things which are not common to everyone. That is when I know I have to choose the subject because I'm kind of made for this
@SSS135
Shashank Sehgal
@SSS135 · 0:51
Also would like to ask that what changes that happen to you over a period of time from school to college? Like, if I ask you any changes that happened to you which transformed you so what will be the three changes you know happened in your life from your school time to college?
@pika
priyanka singhal
@pika · 1:18

@SSS135

So the first major change would be that change in my personality I literally grow a lot I was a shy girl who was insecure for almost everything now I can see say that with confidence that I am a confident girl who does not scare to say it say it loud I'm proud of that also the other thing would be the other thing would be self confidence and self acceptance realizing that I can do I am not worthless and I'm able to do something made me achieve a lot of things in my college life as in school the third thing would be my urge to try earlier I used to lose hope and not I used to think myself as a failure myself that I won't be able to complete since I won't be able to finish the task or won't be able to achieve now I don't think all of those things I just cry I did my best that is the one of the best quality I can say have loan over these past years
@SSS135
Shashank Sehgal
@SSS135 · 1:35
That is wonderful because the habits that you just mentioned, the things that you just mentioned, I think everybody should learn them because these are the, you know, building blocks. These are the basic things that one should know. And when I met you first, I did not know anything about your you. We just only talked random things. We talked so less in the beginning and I did not know about this site
@pika
priyanka singhal
@pika · 1:19

@SSS135

So reading books does not just gave me the idea to be a psychologist. Like there is no as such experience. But if you remember, I used to do things like I sit on, my teacher was there and I used to counsel. Not counsel, but I used to give advice and just talk to my friends and other classmates in the class. And some of my classmates were really happy with me, with my interaction with them
@SSS135
Shashank Sehgal
@SSS135 · 1:26
So do you have any idea about this books? Did you read this book? And can you give a little summary to the listeners as well? This is my first question and my second question. Another question is what all have you achieved in college life till now in one year? And how is the life of a site college student? Can you give a glimpse on that? And what have you achieved in this one year over a period of one year in college?
@pika
priyanka singhal
@pika · 5:00

@SSS135

Who else can give a better glimpse than you? Shashank on Power of Subconscious Mind so if you take my opinion on Bodji books, Bojji books are great. These are the two books which help me to develop the positive thinking. You were so enthusiastic, literally. I remember how I got into these law of attraction and power of the conscious mind
@pika
priyanka singhal
@pika · 2:04
We use therapies which are taught to us. So this is the life of. I call the student to tell people that we are not crazy and we have to find someone for research work. Just go ask people. Can you just fill this questionnaire? Can you feel this? If this is what we do holding
@pika
priyanka singhal
@pika · 2:49
The another subject was personality and behavior. So I told you, I love to study about people's personality and behavior and to understand my own personality. So, to summarize, I love all the subjects I study and I love this whole year. This whole year was like a rollercoaster for me. I learned so many new things. I learned so many techniques. I learned so much about new people
@SSS135
Shashank Sehgal
@SSS135 · 2:38
So I was learning about the same disease. So I was also reading about all this because this stuff is fascinating and interesting and definitely, as you also mentioned about your achievements over one year. This is great. You are doing everything. And this is a very interesting subject, I must say. This is joe, listen, one more thing, and this is the last question I would like to ask. Can you define what exactly is attitude and what exactly is the personality and motivation?
@pika
priyanka singhal
@pika · 1:42
There is a CPS maybe on Google, searched on Google for reference. But maybe all of these tests are performed only in front of mental health professionals
@SSS135
Shashank Sehgal
@SSS135 · 1:11
One should actually love the work and we all live in a world where we don't actually love our work, we just work for the sake of money and this makes the person frustrating sometimes. I know for some people it is true, for some people it is not true. I am yet to discover a lot of things like what I like, what I don't like. Do I have to work for money all my life or will I ever find my passion?

Hey guys. I hope you're doing well. So today I want to take another interview of another friend of mine. His name is Naman Namanjoshi and we both were in same school. Now he's in the U college in Hansraj. Yeah, not so. He also started a blog. So let's ask some questions and make this conversation better and interacting with him
@Jonas2019
Timple Chonzo
@Jonas2019 · 0:52

@SSS135

And despite not giving boards and exams being canceled, I was still able to get an admission into such a prestigious colleges, one of the top colleges of Dew. So I'm very happy about that. And I live in Delhi, just like and some of my hobbies include playing games, watching movies and TV shows. That is something that I'm very passionate about. And yeah, so that was my intro. Now let's start
@SSS135
Shashank Sehgal
@SSS135 · 1:10
Well, this is great. Getting into Hansraj is a very big deal, definitely. And since I know you from school, so I know that you are really, you know, an extrovert person. You you are very humorous and you have taken part in too many competition additions, many events. You actually won many. And you really knew from the beginning that what you wanted to do. And you were passionate, you were focused about it. So how did you manage all these things?
@Jonas2019
Timple Chonzo
@Jonas2019 · 4:16

@SSS135

I started participating again because my teachers were the heads of my house. They actually encouraged me a lot and because encouraged me a lot. Since I was putting all my focus into studies. I was actually able to score quite good and they thought that since I'm scoring so good. I should also participate in a lot of these activities. It would help me get a lot more exposure and that is how I got it
@SSS135
Shashank Sehgal
@SSS135 · 1:57
I remember that you mentioned somewhere about that you started to watch lot of movies, started to read books and all these stuff. So what all did you do and how did you utilize the time?
@Jonas2019
Timple Chonzo
@Jonas2019 · 1:18

@SSS135

Basically for the covet period, I can divide into two parts and the first part of 2020 and the second route to 2021. So 2020 was when we were in 12th. So, you know, at that point of time, my online were going on and my primary focus was on studies. So the whole day we were on lockdown
@Jonas2019
Timple Chonzo
@Jonas2019 · 2:32

@SSS135

And beyond that, I also bought an Excel course on Udemy once I started my college in the later half of the year, because I knew that it would help me a lot in my future life. And then I also started reading books again, nonfiction for the very first time, because I'd actually stopped reading books since it began, but then I started reading again because I knew that they would benefit me a lot
@SSS135
Shashank Sehgal
@SSS135 · 0:53
And this is one thing. The second thing is that, as you said, that you spend a lot of time watching so many good movies and so many series web shows you have watched. So also you have started a blockchain. So what's this block channel all about? And is this related to movies and all these things?
@Jonas2019
Timple Chonzo
@Jonas2019 · 2:34

@SSS135

So college is like completely different from school. In school, you're just kind of like kind of a shell. But in college, you are actually exposed to the real world and you actually get some real life experiences. And there are the three things that I feel that have changed, changed with respect to school and college. They would be that college, first of all, provides a lot more exposure than school. In college, you actually get to learn that marks are not everything
@Jonas2019
Timple Chonzo
@Jonas2019 · 1:28

@SSS135 https://s.swell.life/STBY5Sg5CVpl4Is

And he basically told me that, you know, if you actually start a blog, it would be to be a very valuable asset to you in the long run because it would look good on your CV and whenever you apply for admissions, or rather any interviewer anywhere, you can just put the link of your blog in that and they would actually be impressed with that. So that was actually the reason as to why I started my blog. But that was not the only reason
@SSS135
Shashank Sehgal
@SSS135 · 2:44
And when I asked the same question, she was looking at me and she was giving me looks and I was like I scored 64. This is not bad. Plus this was a pre board, what do you expect me? But later I did not take signs, I took commerce. It was a different story. But yeah, the thing is that teachers, everybody, the school was all about marks. Definitely I did not learn anything. I did not get any opportunity
@Jonas2019
Timple Chonzo
@Jonas2019 · 2:29

@SSS135 https://s.swell.life/STBYADV0LyKK6dQ

And Psychology of Money is yet another book that I read that is also highly recommended. And yes, these are the two nonfiction books that I've read recently. As I keep on reading more, I'll give more suggestions
@Jonas2019
Timple Chonzo
@Jonas2019 · 2:46

@SSS135

It's a very good show that is very well acted and brilliant. And then I don't watch a lot of sitcoms. I have not watched, friend. How I Met her, big Bang Theory or anything like that. I know it might sound surprising. So I can't really recommend a lot of sitcoms. But if there is a sitcom that I have to recommend it would be Arrested Development. It is by far the best sitcom I have watched till Date and nothing tops it in my opinion
@Jonas2019
Timple Chonzo
@Jonas2019 · 3:13

@SSS135 https://s.swell.life/STBYCIOoVSkkkUs

So as far as film recommendations are sentenced, this is going to be difficult because, you know, I have a lot of films and I've already forgotten a lot of them, but let's start with comedy films. So for comedy films, I think Sacha Baron Kohen films are brilliant. Borat One and Two and The Dictator classics and brilliant films with underlying political commentary. And then Adam McKay films are very good

Well, trips, that's a lot to digest, actually. You are doing so many things and I wonder how much time do you get in all these things? So, starting from the very basics, how was your school life? Because everything that or that one person does, the basics are from the school only. So how are you in school? How was your school? And did you like your school, the studies and all these things? So what was your mindset in school?
@Trayaksh

This sudden growth gave me a kickstart and motivation to step ahead and attempt to start my professional career. I had always been an avid gamer, so I decided to get into electronics force and concentration planning to make a connection with potential investors, other entrepreneurs and like minded people. Also to generate some income to put my own ideas as well
@SSS135

I see. So in short, you were an average student just like everybody else. Even I was like this. And things started to change for you. You started your own YouTube channel and then go with game life was pretty, you know, like all timple for you. But you just started with your YouTube channel. That was the main thing. Then COVID came and you got more time to devote on this thing. Right
@Trayaksh

So one such day my teammates called me and said that an individual from the Esports Federation of India which is like the governing body industry, wants to talk to me as he has a good business model and he is looking forward to discussing it with us. He introduced me to that person on a conference call. We discussed the idea, I consulted and invited him with a few suggestions

Not exactly business, Debbie. Make a debate. But still, how would you encourage people to at least try something out? Any tips, experience, lessons that you would like to share with others? So please do it. And thank you for doing this fantastic interviews

I believe that this particular type of grind or hard work obviously burns you out, but also just helps you to be in a very different position as compared to all of your competitors actually. And thirdly, my most important skill would be of managing and leveraging

So Shashank, the thing is every person who has taken birth on this planet has came with a purpose. Believe it or not, there's no one in this world who doesn't have a purpose in life. It's just that we need to put in effort to find it out. And most of the the times it's our passion. It's the things we love the most and which makes us feel happy from inside. So my advice to anyone would be to start to take that first step
