Do you still laugh at things you found funny as a child or a teenager?

article image placeholderLaugh out loud
And do you still manage to laugh out loud, in spite of all the baggage of intelligence that you carry with you as part of experiences that life throws at you? Do you laugh and do you laugh out loud is what I want to know

Hey, Shijah, thank you for this. Let me think so. I do laugh at a lot of silly stuff. Even now, I sometimes have tears in my eyes laughing at some of the things that my little ones say. So in that way, I'm still thankful that I'm able to see the lighter side of things to a certain extent even now

This is an interesting question, because my sense of humor has definitely changed since I was a child, but I was a goofy child, and I would consider myself a goofy adult. I have a kind of weird sense of humor, and I do silly things, and I think I like to surround myself with people with friends who I know will make me laugh, who have a good sense of humor

They too will kind of start giggling and realize that it's just a little bit of a chaotic mess and that I'm not trying to invalidate their feelings. I just don't know why I think it's so funny. I literally don't know why. I don't know if it's a coping mechanism or what, but I used to do it as a kid, and I still do it as an adult

Not anymore of the jokes based on colourism and body shaming!

So the few things that I you found funny as a child teenager, there are like some jokes across TV shows, serials, or in movies which offer makes fun of somebody's physical appearance, their body weight basically like body shame them or they're degrading nasty jokes about colors. I everybody thought it was like funny then. But now if you go and reassess the comedy, it kind of makes you think

Falling is a classic?? No...!!? 😅😅

But the one thing that I continue to find really funny one was younger as well as now is somebody tripping and falling. Yeah, I know. It's like immature, but it's not like someone like falling off the stairs, mortally getting hurt. It's just them, just like walking on a slippery floor and slipping. Yeah, I giggle. I laugh at that. And even when it happens to me, my first reaction would be I would laugh a little bit

Shaz, I am totally with you on this. I still cannot resist laughing when somebody falls. And you know, though now increasingly I managed to look the other way, you know, and sort of stifle my laughter, but it still happens. It still does. I feel bad about it, but I can't help it
