Does karma create ‘bad’ karma!

I was thinking about the concept of karma lately. You know, the other day I was standing in front of the bus stop, and a couple of us were just watching this teenager riding a skateboard. I don't know what happened, but the teenager flipped on something. Maybe he hit a rock. I don't know what it is, but he was going pretty fast. And then he did something

Hey. Wow. What a fascinating thought. Just yeah. The idea of karma and creating bad karma and okay. I wish I knew more about karma. I feel like the way that we use it in our evening, you know, English language, I feel like it's a little bit removed from what the original intention and meaning is, as so many things

@splashmango 🙏🏻 The implications of the tally sheet...

I do remember in the past when things happened, I used to have a friend that used to tell me, don't worry, they'll get what they deserve, along the lines of karma. And in my mind, I kept thinking, there's no way of knowing that. And I think it allowed me the ability to let it go. Because if I'm constantly thinking they'll get what they deserve, it's like I am still hanging on to like you talked about

@splashmango @SeekingPlumb, Sovereignty & an empty swaddling cloth.

And I find your landing at just sort of choosing to no longer be the purveyor of judgment and your understanding of what's going on as an acceptance of what I've come to understand is sovereignty, right? So whether God, the universe or whatever, the compassion that we are gifted to express as human beings takes precedence over trying to get to the bottom of it

@SeekingPlumb

So it really comes to a situation where you're kind of defining not so much a push and a pull or a yes and a no, a negative and a positive, but maybe having an empathetic understanding of the situation first, having compassion for yourself and equal compassion for the other person. Wow, is that ever hard. So thank you for iterating that I don't know whether or not I personally could come to a place of forgiveness if somebody had done something terribly wrong

I think that you raised a very good point and that the word karma and so many other words that we have adopted into our colonial language, the modern language of what we feel is is correct, especially in Western eyes, is somehow translated, but in a manner that's not intended. So karma, I think the word which was established and nurtured in the east while describing a philosophy, cannot really be defined without understanding the context in which it was defined from whatever source it originated

Hey, Al Watson Jr. Boy. Yeah. Boy, you brought up a lot of really cool issues. Yeah. Sovereignty. The concept of sovereignty of, I suppose, fate in a sense, and counting whether or not we do good things versus bad things. My mind is all over the place right now. And of course, to schism within the Catholic religion oh, my God, I have to listen to this a couple of times
