BBC releases Anti-PM Docuseries

article image placeholderUploaded by @spillthechaiii
Hey guys. So something that has caught my attention off late is the BBC docuseries on our Honorable Prime Minister titled India the Modi Question. It caused a lot of mayhem in the country and strict measures had been taken to remove traces of this so called propaganda peace. As said by the Ministry of External Affairs, this docuses had not been made available to India by BBC, although ironically, it revolved around India and its politics. Why so?

Hi, chaitanya. I heard what you had to say about the BBC documentary. Well, now we have to call it a controversy. And it's interesting that you applied some time to trying to analyze what could be behind this and so on, on and so forth. So if we get into a discussion about this, then we can discuss it forever because everyone has their own point of view. Some will say this and some will say that and so on

And it has been always up to the audience, the people who are consuming the media, to decide whether they agree with it or what they think about it, but taking extreme measures to ensure that in no way the general audience has access to the movie or the documentary. And going to the extent of banning it is definitely something that I strongly disagree with. And it doesn't make sense to me either because as you said, that I would like to watch it and form an opinion myself

But, yeah, I doubt that this being, quote, unquote, ban is going to prevent a lot of people from not seeing it because of how interconnected we are and because of the technology that is available. So, yeah, we will see what results with all of this

It's important that you understand that any media, including but not limited to the BBC, is not always able to provide a completely unbiased and accurate account of events. News outlets have their own agendas and the information they present is often filtered through their own perspective. As a result, it is important to approach any coverage with a critical eye and seek out multiple sources of information to get a more well rounded understanding of the situation

I am not sure how it has been portrayed right now, but again, thank you so much for your inputs and I will take that into consideration as a common citizen, as you did mention. And yeah, thank you

Thank you for your opinion. Although you and I have completely different opinions on this particular matter, I'm just really happy that you did take out time to voice out what your stance is in this whole situation. And I loved how you spoke about the psychology of it all, and I think that kind of just sparked my interest all of a sudden, considering how I'm a psychology student. But thank you so much for your opinion
