Alone vs. Lonely… Which Is More Dangerous?

article image placeholderUploaded by @SoulJourney1K
You may become violent toward that person, or you may treat them like an object, or that person may use you, and you don't care, just as long as they're in your space, because you don't want that feeling of abandonment anymore. So I'm the type of person where there were times where when I was alone before I was married, but I never felt lonely because I have an imaginative mind, and I've always had my pets, my family

Hey, good evening Erica, how are you doing? Al Cosby here. I just got finished listening to this Alone versus Lonely. This is definitely a great topic and something that should definitely be discussed. And it's interesting, I was thinking to myself while I was listening would I rather be alone or would I rather be lonely?

Hey, Al, thank you for commenting. Validation, I think that's the word that I was looking for as well. People, when they are lonely, it's because they're seeking something. They feel abandoned, so they look for that validation. And like you said, this goes for social media especially, because I know of several people who they weren't getting the clicks and the likes and things like that. So they started doing extreme things, extreme things to get noticed

And part of that muscle is teaching them how to occupy their time and how to find value in the things around them in life. Not just people in the relationships. Right? Because at the end of the day, when it's just you in a room, can you deal with it? Can you live by yourself? Will you be okay? And some people are not okay with that. Some people continually live with roommates. Some people continually fall into these unhealthy relationships

Thank you for responding. Lola. This is Erica here. How are you doing? Yes, that's a nice angle there, talking about the socialization while we're in school. And again, I may dive deeper into that with introversion and how the world is run by extroverts, so I'll definitely try to get into that one thing. You might hear my rabbit in the background. She's busy
