What piece of tech are you geeking out on at the moment?

But then the Oculus Quest two came out and I'm sure if you spend any time on any sort of tech news and seen how it's performed since it's released, in terms of number of people buying it and all that sort of stuff and Facebook and its meta verse and all of that anyway, beyond that. So I went ahead and I got an Oculus and it's just next level experience. I was just blown away by the immersiveness of the environment of being in VR

Echo VR is the game I mention in the cast: https://s.swell.life/SSuIT9KbHTq6ghO

@soulcruzer That sounds so intense ans fun!

But also, I thought A, this could be really addictive or B. I don't know that I want to get into this whole idea of having a whole another place to go to that feels this good and real, because obviously, reality sometimes is highly undesirable. But I thought it was really cool, and it's the kind of thing that if I go to someone's house and they have it, I'll mess with it. But I don't think I want to own it

@PKBriggs The productivity and collaboration tools are amazing too.

So, for example, I know I described in this cast the games and the fun, but also equally today I spent with the productivity and work aspect of VR. And one of the things especially doing the whole sort of covet lockdown, all that kind of stuff. And if you're a freelancer in your home, offices or home is where your office is and it's just you solo preneur, as it were

Hands down. My favorite piece of technology is the Oculus quest to virtual reality goggles. I probably spend most of my time playing poker, but I also shoot zombies and drop dead. I go fishing. I have done the pottery app, and one of my favorite apps is called Puzzling Places, which is a 3D virtual puzzles. And I'm not a puzzle person

Walkabout mini golf and for the zombie killing, I'm into the Walking dead and for the old time kind of Dungeons and Dragons type games. The RPGs are playing Shadow Gate. I think it's definitely an awesome piece of technology. Can't wait to see how it develops even further. Oh man, it's a great place to hang out. Cool. Thanks Lup
