What are your fitness plans for 2022?

article image placeholderUploaded by @soulcruzer
So it's good to take a break and just let the body heal completely and then get back into it. And I'm glad that I did because back in the gym today felt good. Taking it easy. I'm easing myself into it, so not going crazy, but just easing myself back into the weights. So yeah, what are other people's fitness plans for? 2022. All right. All right. That's it. That's great. That's me done

Hey, Clay, I'm with you on that one. I'm definitely going to try to do a little something every day, not try to overdo it, but got my trainer, he's ready for me and just try to tried to stay on track and give myself that every day, some sort, even if it's just 30 minutes of cardio something just as part of my daily routine, because I need to lose about 25 kg

My goals: to be lean and strong. My prayer that I can commit and enjoy it

But I'm not the kind of person that can watch a video in my room and just mimic what I see. I need a person like I've done personal trainers a few times, but these days it's quite an expensive investment. So I said I'm going to try the gym again, but this time I'm going to use the free things that come with the gym. They have classes and they have this thing called Build Your Own Plan based on your goals. I'm going to go

My goals on workout and diet! Stay away sugar!

I like to stretch out and meditate at the same time, and I think that's something that's been missing. I'm going to reintroduce that diet wise. I'm going to be making sure I'm getting enough fiber in my day and getting the sugar out. I just don't get along with sugar anymore, and I got to start taking that out and I'll be easing into this. Just like you said

You're outside, you're running around, you were playing, you were jumping, you were climbing, you're just doing stuff. That was just fun. And so part of it, a mindset shift is to look at not working out, but as a practice and as a period of place, I'm going to go play. So sometimes I do have a period where I'm focused, like, right now I'm doing mass building

Oh, yes, Phil. Forgot. The book is called The Power of Habit. Why we do what we do and how to Change is by a guy named Charles Duhigg. The Power Hour of Habit. I'm getting ready to crack it open right now. Actually

Fun & consistency

And so I've now started training for a tenk, which I've never done in my whole life, and I'm planning on doing that sometime in February. And then I will be doing my first half marathon in April. Fingers cross that all goes well. I stay in good health, I don't break any bones. So I'm really trying to just be careful and consistent in my practices
