Music hey, I am so glad to have this channel here on Swell. Thank you so much for spearheading it. I'm taking a mental health walk right now, and listening to this makes me think about the role emotional intelligence plays in these conversations around issues that sometimes trigger us. And I love the introduction of an Eagle if for no other reason to get us in touch with our triggers and our emotional intelligence so that we can take responsibility for our behaviors

I think it's absolutely essential, although it's already been said, it's absolutely essential to practice self awareness and self discovery before you can be a good ally and engage in social justice in a productive, effective way because you can't claim to engage in these things and be a good ally and be a supporter if you're not even aware of your own faults and your own role in the system and the grand scheme of things and the issue itself at hand
