Time to say goodbye: when is it time to go?

So all this to say when you're invited to a get together and there's no time stamp of when you have to leave, when is the appropriate time to leave? When do you feel like you should excuse yourself from the get together? When do you feel like it's a good time that you've been there to where you feel like you can excuse yourself from the get together? I want to hear all your thoughts

High functioning, like, rat race type of operation. I think it was probably more normal to see your neighbors more frequently, to do like, communal living, to just drop by and do what you need and there's probably less anxiety about it. Back in the days, I would assume. Sometimes I think people kind of overthink it, but at the same time, yeah, sometimes people give out that feeling that they want you to leave and you can just pick up on it

I was laughing as I was listening to you because it reminds me of when I was a waitress for about, like, two, four years, and the way, like, at times, guests don't know when to leave the table. Sometimes guess who eat their food? And they'll keep chatting and chatting and keep talking. They'll keep talking until the sun goes down
