When the Queen died, a few things happened. First, her oldest son became King. As we all know, king Charles III is the official king of Britain. Second, the money changed. Immediately after her death, Britain stopped making money and stamps with the Queen's face on it and all new printed money now has the King's face on it. But old money notes still are valid.
