Why Do Movies These Days Suck?

article image placeholderUploaded by @Sigmachris89
Hey, guys. I wanted to do more of a fun topic, I guess, is what is your opinion on why movies these days suck specifically for me, when I look at the MCU and the DCEU, they kind of suck. It's not fun anymore. The last really, like, people are going to hate me for this, but I thought Infinity War was way better than Endgame in terms of the Avengers. So want to get your thoughts on that?

So I think it's just that genre of movies and I don't even mean genres like action or whatever, but that kind of thing where it's like, this is a universe, and we're just going to milk. You have to know all these characters and how they relate to each other, and it's full of Easter eggs, and it's all so much about a second thing. It's not about the story or the heart of it, even

And it's like, it's not about the characters anymore. It's about making all these connections and having this cash grab making all this money. It's starting to fizzle out because DC and marvel are getting hit pretty hard because people are like, we're kind of tired of this. We're done. You have oversaturated the market. Back in the day, comic book movies were hit or miss

I feel like even in that aspect, even as great as actors as Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors are, I feel like the story got rushed, in a sense, and I was supposed to care immediately about the protagonist. And antagonist when there was other scenarios that came in my head that I was like, well, it could have been resolved this way, or if we would have had a little bit more backstory, I think it could have been better. But it was a great film overall

I think DC, since the new 52 was announced, I think that they've done a great job at reintroducing characters and making people care about their characters again. One of my favorite comic book character of all time is batman. And then when they released the dark knight metal series, for example, I was fully engaged, and I couldn't stop reading it. I would love for that to be a movie, but that's obviously going to be way too dark for the normal audience to consume

I think it's just probably more of the machines behind entertainment that are off product of these movies sucking a bit more that we are able to visualize and it's more apparent. But anyway, those are my thoughts
