This is what we usually see in movies. The difference between CGI animation and the previous type of CGI is that in the CGI animation, three dimensional objects are formed instead of two dimensional ones. And to achieve a CGI animation, first, a model of the object is formed, then it's laid out in the scene in it in which it's supposed to be, and then the animation the way it moves over time is applied. Then the materials the object is made of are rendered
