Why is it so difficult for people to commit?

Is it me or is it harder to commit in your 40s than it was in your twenty? S I would think, you know, we it would be easier because we've learned a lot about life and we've all been in relationships until we know what we're looking for. But it seems to be harder to commit in your 40s than it was in your 20s. What do you all think?

I don't think it's a bad or a good thing, actually, and I'm just wondering if your value is as bad or good. Because I think committing is beautiful once you're in it, once you're committed, then you flow with it. But the process of commitment might take longer because you have more of a life story to tell in your head about experiences that might inform your conviction to commit

@Sib2619: A longer application…

Tanya, thank you so much for posting this. Well, my name is Revan LJ and I just enjoy questions like this because, of course, they're they're all sort of steeped in what I would describe as generational nuances, right? So, like, people in their 20s correspond with the world, their environment, their community differently in your thirty s and in your thirty s. You correspond with the world differently in your 40s, so on and so forth
