Will this work in India? Portugese laws restricts Bosses from contacting employees after office hours!!
Hello listener. The Portuguese Parliament has introduced new labor laws that will ensure healthier worklife balance for the employees. These laws forbid employers from monitoring employees who are working from home, and these rules are applicable to all organizations with more than ten workers. So what are the actual rules? The first rule is companies must contribute to the expenses, including electricity and Internet, which the employees would have incurred while they are working remotely from their homes. These costs can be written off as business expenses by the employers

I actually saw this news in memes and I agree with this because there are few micro managing bosses that would Ping you all the time to check on you whether you finish that or this. That is so irritating. And I actually welcome this. Most employees won't report on their managers unless they are too irritating too much. They are asking for work after work has I think this law should be there so that people don't experience this burnout and frustration

My office has started the WiFi thing but I feel I completely agree with you. Our electricity is going as well but that is not even taking into account. I hope this law comes into picture soon

Not speaking for a pessimistic point of view, but I don't think we will will will will will this work in India Portugese? Definitely great. And I really do hope that they come to India so that people are saved from the burnout frustration they're having due to working due to rigorously working from home. I mean, I have seen my own relatives working in corporate jobs and they have nothing called office hours. What's nine to five from home. They are working all day, all night
