Navarasa movie discussion with @Pooji

article image placeholderUploaded by @Shaz
Happy Monday, guys. So have you watched the Nabrasa movie over the weekend? Because I did. And so did my friend Fujita, and we have pretty strong feelings about it. If you haven't watched the movie yet, I highly recommend you keep listening. But if you have watched the movie, I guarantee that you are going to have such a love listening to us. So let's dive right in

Ones I liked- Hatsya, Bhaya, Rowthira!

So after finding out something about their mother, it infuriates two children and one person has an outburst of rage or anger and another person keeps it inside herself. But that anger issue kind of manifests in her life later on, and it affects her day to day life. So to see the same incident and the same emotion affect two people so differently. It was very interesting to me. And the actress who plays the younger sister, Anbu, did a phenomenal job

Hasya, Bhaya and Adbhuta

Hi Shaz. Happy Monday to you too. Yes. I also liked a few parts of Naval assert just like you, and it's similar to your liking. I also liked Hacia and Ramya hacia was it was fun, but just like how you felt. It was lengthy. I also felt it was a pretty common SMS story that you used to get a few years back or maybe a decade, but yeah, it was funny, nothing captivating but yeah, okay

Adbhuta- sci fic intensity!

So for an average summer movie fan, you may not understand or appreciate the genre, but if you're a hardcore Sci-Fi fan and all the subconscious battle world, your cup of tea, you probably will enjoy it now for the ACTUALTY the ones that we did not like as much. So Poochie, do tell us the ones that you didn't like and why

Big no-no's- Karuna, Shanthith, Veera, Sringara

Do you have to save a puppy in Sri Lanka? I really like puppies, but that was completely unnecessary. Sorry. Vira is supposed to be courage. So who is showing this courage? Who is portraying courage here? Is Adama letting go of the prisoner that he was supposed to bring back for the greater good Visha's courage? No. Or did otherwise leave his principles that he's been following and join the other clan because they serve it properly? No. But instead showing courage

Karuna, Shanthith and Sringar - the feeling is mutual 🤣

I don't really mind that this couple are together. That isn't the point here. But there's a question like, when do you think an attraction becomes an infatuation? When does an infactuation become love? When is that defining moment? That's an interesting question to ponder and think about. And I really like that in question. And even the fact that they weren't together. But he remembers it so fondly seems nice to me

Mom - The ultimate power of the universe

You would tend to degrade them and ultimately end up degrading yourself. But that's a very common human nature. And I really appreciate for showing that candid form of that disgust or hatred you would have and you go to any extent to do anything just because you're annoyed. So that was one episode that was good. That was relatable. And overall I felt all the episodes were a little incomplete

Finals thoughts!

Do you agree with what we liked and disliked, or do you have completely different opinions about the film, or how did you enjoy listening to us rant about this movie? And thank you so much, Fujita, for joining me in this. And thank you all of you guys for listening if you made it this far

My favorite- payasam

The reason why I loved this movie is that it's quite understated a very simple plot. And this is the only movie in these list of nine movies that I could actually relate to because it dealt with everyday emotions that you go through of disgust, frustration, jealousy, the negative things that passes through the heads of every regular guy that you meet. And I think Vasinth has managed to capture the atmosphere of a little Brahman village in Kumar Konam very well

Shringara - damp squib

Hi. I watched Shangara and the Bhaya movies and I loved Bhaya and I loved Siddhaat's performance and also Parvati. I think it was truly something very interesting to go through, and of course it was quite gory, but still there was something different to look forward to

Rest of the stories reviewed

Boring would be an understatement, but with GVM, we know there is a standard template that he follows boy meets girl love at first sight, song, dance, sloppy dialogue. Then of course there is a heartbreak and some more crap after that. So you get the gist right. As a surreal fan, I am saddened beyond words to see one of my favorite actors stoop to this level

My personal take on the entire Anthology

And we used to have a program called Nalay, Igner and Kalangya which had far better and fantastic stories with good content, not high budget and cheap content. Yeah, that's my case

Thank you guys

I think we can all commonly agree that this was really incomplete and they totally let us down, especially with the last episodes and everything. And what better way to make friends than hitting the same thing together? And of course, thank you. Rvki sarcastic nerd and your meme was really hilarious. Thank you for joining The Threat as well
