Should we outlaw human driving when autonomous driving proves to be safer and ubiquitous?

I am in an extremely slow mood today, pun intended, and I'm going to add one more swell. The next question I have is when selfdriving does to take over, let's say, in the next ten to 15 years, when self driving cars prove to be safer and to be the way to go, would you support a law that outlaws manual driving, as in every car on the road has to be autonomous? You cannot drive manually as far as I'm concerned

Would you be okay giving up the joy of driving for safety from autonomous driving?

So at this point in time, I think it's kind of a scary concept. However, who knows what I might be thinking in 15 time when I may not have the best use of my limbs and I want to get around. So Yeah

And when I say entertainment, it's not just consumption of movies and media, but interactive entertainment, which is games and things like that. It is our founders belief. Our founder, Elon Musk, his belief that soon enough we will have autonomous driving. And when that happens, people will have a lot of free time, which they can put to good use either in a productive manner, whether it's having it be creative or just entertainment or office productivity

That also means that they probably will outlaw manual cars because it will be too much of a tool for them, because they could just have the car. Just have the robot just drive you to jail. As soon as you get in the car, they can override the car and drive you straight to jail. So, no, I would definitely not support a law to outlaw manual cars, even though that's probably what they're going to do anyway

Of course not. What are you guys smoking? That would be a violation of my First Amendment rights. If you outlaw driving, I express myself with my driving so you can't take away my freedom of expression by outlawing kind of my ability to drive. So there I don't think this is ever going to see the light of day. This will go all the way to the Supreme Court

But I think what we might find is driving ranges where people just go to drive like we have the race tracks these days where people take their cars out for a truck. You might see some of those. Well, anyways, we'll see what happens
