What do you do for self care?

And it wasn't an eating disorder. But it was like disordered eating. And now I have a much better relationship with food, so I don't do that as often. And instead I do other things for self care. Notably, they are more expensive. Like today. I wanted to congratulate myself on something that I achieved. So I got a manicure and a pedicure and just looking at it

And then another type of self care is to like, kind of be mindful and like the whole idea of mindfulness and aware of your thoughts and trying to change bad habits or bad thinking patterns, which is also a form of selfcare because you're taking care of your mind and also self care. I think this is just kind of what I envision it to be

I was kind of saying all that because I have to learn from what I just said myself because a lot of the times when I get stressed or I feel like I have too much to do, I just ignore it and try to keep my mind calm and do things that make me feel better instead of finishing it because that would make me feel better after completing it if that makes sense. Yeah. This is a really good idea. As opposed

I feel like it will be good to take note of what it is that I do personally, because I know sometimes like what you said. Sometimes I convince myself that I'm spending a lot of money for self care when it's just like it means a progressive nation or just not something that I've sort of earned. I guess at that point because I already done it before recently, if that makes sense

So, for instance, I think when first semester ended, I bought myself some stuff on an online store, like some rings and stuff like that. So that's something I like to do. Like, I'll hit a thrift store or something and just get really nice stuff because I don't know why I really like stuff. I'm always like ego capitalism, but then I'm like, I really like stuff, unfortunately

For selfcare. I try to avoid toxic people as much as I can, and I'm not scared of saying no to things that can be quite troublesome or, you know, could deteriorate my mental health or something. So I'm always conscious about things that could deteriorate my mental health. So I always stay on guard and try to stay away from anything that could cost me trouble. And I spend my time I'm watching anime so I'm actually cheerful all the time
