You just say it how you would read it. There's nothing difficult about it, like, it's either Shakthi or Shakthi. The only thing I never took was things that did not remotely sound like my name. Like, once a French teacher in grade three and grade four, call me Saski, and it was Hikey humiliating. Every time she would say that I would be like, oh, it's shaky, and she would just be like, okay, sashki

And when teachers try to pretend they're like, oh, if I pronounce it wrong, just correct me and I'll be fine. And then you correct them. And then they just still don't listen. Which is like one of the things you said in your story. That's super annoying. I'm trying to think for my name people when they read it. Sometimes they say Neha or NIA or Neha, which is not too different. And then it's funny. I pronounce it Neha

Oh, my God. I call you Shakthi. I need to fix that. I will. I promise to fix that. Yes. But what you said very, very relatable. My name isn't even hard. Like, it's phonetically spelled just like your name, just like Nay has name. They can pronounce Chaikovsky and Arnold Schwarzenegger, but God forbid they pronounce Chaptika and Neha and Arizona properly. I remember this one a few times

It's not hard at all, but, yeah, I don't know why some people have such trouble saying other people's names that just might be like, I don't know, not like, your usual name that you would see just because it's unique. People have trouble saying it, which is so baffling to me. It's not hard at all. And you can always ask for clarification, like, we're not going to take offense
Because I can't pronounce the R sound. So I kind of screw me over there. But I've been saying, like, a Reese, if that's not right, then let me know. Or if you like, before another one
