And then I was inspired by a comment Benedicty had left on that Swell that maybe I would just create my own my own best of toot my own horn or share with you, at the very least, my favorite Swells, and for the various reasons of why they're my favorites. And so what will follow are links to the originals with my brief comments on why that one is a favorite

Not like the glitter you see of the little pieces of things, but bioluminescent, sparkling little bits. And there is a link included that you can click through and watch. Make sure the brightness is turned up on your phone and you'll actually get to see the excreting in action

Okay, here's another favorite ugly selfies. This sort of started out as like a silly serendipitous moment that let do a fit of giggles and just more ridiculousness that I wanted to share that laughter and fun with other people and as cosmo to sort of be vulnerable and contribute our silly, ridiculous, ugly selfies. And yet it turned into something beautiful, at least from my perspective, in that we could all be vulnerable together and recognize that really in our quote unquote ugly stuff, loops were actually really beautiful

What I really loved about these were the conversations and the different perspectives and the way that we again teased apart and looked at these things

This is one of my faves because I love imaginative play and I love doing it with other people. It exercises my brain so that I can do more thinky. Thinky things that I can have fun in imagining the ridiculous or the fantastical or something scifi related. And so this time, we step into Willy Wonka's lab trying to consider things that we know about the everyday world that seem mundane but when you blend them up together, we can come up with the most fantastical wild candy as possible

This one is a fave. Perhaps for more serious reasons. This is something I wish more people either had a similar perspective or had at least the consideration for and that is that there is more complexity and nuance within the realms of logic that we often like to consider. And so instead of hurling hatred and vitriol at somebody for not being quote, unquote logical maybe we could consider there's more to the picture

And this particular swell kind of reminds me of that, because I can see the zooming in and zooming out and a lateral view of and weaving in of things as just an example of how my brain works. And this was fun to be able to not only spill all of those thoughts out of my head, but then to listen to them back. And so, for very personal reasons, I really like this one

I said, okay, those are two qualifiers that sometimes kind of makes the sentence disqualify. But usually I enjoy your swell content. And I remember this one, and it really gave me great insight, maybe even a different insight into how your brain works. And it was also interesting to hear the others responses to The Swell. At the end of the day, happy New Year, and I look forward to your usual Swell cast content I enjoy

But anyway, you made me pause and think about that and my use of the word always and so on and anyway, thank you. Right back at you. And I don't know which one you were referring to, but it doesn't matter. I'm just I'm glad to have offered anything there of thought. Thank you, JL. And thanks again for being on this platform

Twas the most wonderful swell of the year. There you go. It's a wrap. I really enjoyed all the cells you mentioned. Great. Pics, in my opinion picks. I think that sounded like pics pics pictures, which also, ironically, turns into a pun for the selfie one. So, yes, it was a winwin. Wishing you a happy New Year in advance and looking forward to enjoying more swells with you in the coming year. Bye

And your reply was the perfect wrap to the year. Thank you. Happy New Year. I am guessing it's not quite time yet there, but I hope you are having a fabulous time whether you're partying or whether you're sleeping. And I definitely look forward to more fabulous conversations together too. Happy New Year
