Another episode of, "why do we do this?"

And I will leave the link here in case you aren't all curious to go down that road. But now I have a new one. We've all seen this and it's probably just become normal. But for some reason, it really struck me today. And that is after the intro on a YouTube video or a podcast saying what the show title is. Maybe there's some music

We see it in YouTube videos, podcasts, blog entries, etc. πŸ€” https://app.swell.life/swellcast/FfMh

That's my only guess, I imagine, is that it's that because why would you mention it two or three times? And I think it's just, you know, filler space to gather your thoughts. And again, that's my educated guess. I don't know. But it's a funny topic

The infinity loop of affirmation

No, you just say, tell a story. Guys, I was camping, and I had nothing in my bag except grape Poopon. And you know what? I could have just stayed there for years because the grape coupon was so awesome. I don't need to tell you that. I'm telling you about grapes. I told you a story, and then you converted because you heard the story

Okay. What do I know about public speaking? Dad just broke it down for you. So there you go. Alright, ladies

Oh!! @NealD @DBPardes

And so I almost think of it as if we're sitting in that same space time warping. Maybe. But we sort of have the speaking stick and you hand it off to the next person and they say something and then they hand it off and so on. So there's no overlapping or shouting down or trying to quiet someone because someone else wants to have their space to say what they want to say it's more

You learn something new every day. Lol @SeekingPlumb and @DBPardes

But anyway, yeah, I find it to be thrilling to go exactly to the point at hand, but I realize now that can put off extroverts to some degree because it's a different way of speaking. I mean, for me, it's normalized, and I know most people understand I'm speaking English, but the way how I interpret information and then release that information is just essentially different than how an extrovert who's been extroverting all their life does it
