And I think it's interesting is like not only where someone is looking, but that slight tilt of the head just these little subtleties of our body language and facial expressions and so on can communicate so much with respect to really being present, really being authentic. And I think that the UMS and us in our recordings do that for our audio, whether we're talking live or whether we're talking asynchronous social audio here on Swell. Don't get me wrong

And that's really difficult to just say us and I aren't allowed. You can't do that because if a numbs aren't allowed, then I wouldn't be swallowcasting half the time that I am. And that'd be really hard for me to swallowcasting. Help me so much to talk about my mental issues and my music and my hobbies and all that. And so, yeah, I think other numbs Are necessary, too, to a degree

For me, the UMS and AHS are a constant reminder of my discomfort with silence. To have to input fillers, to have to use those fillers when they come out. It's not really whether it's a right or wrong kind of thing. It's more why am I uncomfortable with there being dead silence that I have to fill it in? Or do I need that odd to bridge into the next thought? You're right. Sometimes it just happens. It just comes out

I've told this story many of times with the intent to use it for my business. And I decided my first weekend, no Swell is just for JL. This is my platform to display unedited, raw, in an authentic manner, what healing out loud looks like. You get all of my quirkiness. People are going to get the Oz so, like, they're going to get all of that
But the sort of gives this idea of something more is coming. At least when I'm using them intentionally, I think, yeah, it's interesting, but realistically, it's not like I keep track of these things constantly when I'm speaking with anybody live, let alone through social audio or recording or something. So statistically, I don't know what my tendencies are speaking of, but I do think that I use them less live. But who knows? It would be interesting
If she wasn't in the kitchen making amazing food or working at a museum cooking food over an open fire, then she was snapping photos. Candid, she wouldn't allow you if you looked at the camera, she wouldn't take it. And we learned that at quite a young age. And so she had boxes and boxes of photos because she'd been doing it for decades. But there's so much better the candid photos than the posed ones
