If the mob is in the driver's seat...

But in today's world, we are so connected through social media online forums that do we ever really spend much time apart from the herd or from being bombarded by heard thinking, whether it's through news of some kind or entertainment. So then I started wondering if there is an individual or a group who decides to take advantage of that thinking the mob and decides they're going to pedal in fear, because if if the mob is driven by that way, then how do you fight that?

If the mob is driven by fear, in today's connected world how do we break free? What will the future look like?

Hey, Seeking Plum. Very interesting. Swell. I just want to put a thought out there that I think what drives mobs is hate, not fear. And if you ponder about it for a while, let me know what you think. Is it fear that's at the core of a mob, or is it hate? I sincerely think it is hate
@SeekingPlumb

Fear ➑️ Hate? @sudha

Essentially, don't you think it's both that fear causes the hate? So both of them are driving factors

Hey seeking plum. Actually, I do not believe fear causes hate or not always. I think that's a narrative that is used to give comfort to people who carry the hatred. Perhaps, perhaps. But in most scenarios that I have witnessed, I believe the hate stems from just things that you've been fed, experiences that you have had with certain things and things that were drilled deep into you growing up. And I think that you carry that I hated

I think we're both right, but... @sudha

But if we want to switch it up, I mean, we could say if if if if if if the mob is driven by question still stands, how do you address an irrational, you know, hurt? How do you break free from that? What is our future going to look like

Seeking the uncomfortable

So using our left hand to draw and our left hand to create and it really screws with you because you have to completely become uncomfortable. You're not in your empowered state, and you're really off kilter. And in that space, there's a whole other narrative going on, and I feel like to break people's patterns of fear and hate. They need to be dropped into a whole different

Yes! Can it be mass produced? πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ @DBPardes

It's so true. Like if we aren't made uncomfortable, aren't forced out of our comfort zone, we don't grow. Your example made me think of something I vaguely familiar, but I couldn't tell you where I saw this, but it was some sort of of a social experiment. And they found out who hated whom or what they didn't like about a certain group of people and basically stuck a project in the room

That's it! Thank you! @DBPardes

Thank you for that. Like I really should have known if I started thinking about it, that if they were wrapping it up with a beer, that it was beer company related, but somehow or another. Anyway, what's funny, too, is how the memory works because some the visuals were definitely bang on in my memory. But then sitting there with beer, I actually had remembered it with those glass chilled mugs. Obviously, that wasn't the case anyway. Yeah, good. Feel good
