You see that link up there? If you click it, you'll hear about my very first World Series of Poker experience. It was the beginning of everything, and I have now so many memories and experiences that I will never, ever forget. One of my my favorite stories took place in 2017 or 2018. On this particular day, I wasn't playing, but my friends were still in it and dinner break was approaching. When dinner break hits, every casino restaurant is packed. It's ridiculous

Wow, Christina, that was amazing. What an amazing recount. So good. Hey, it just goes to show, right? You've got to be careful what you say, where you say it? Who you say it to? Just walking through a park a bit windy. Sorry, dude. I love that story. Tell more. You know what's interesting? You were on the other side of the table. You were a punter, and I was a CRPA. We have a convergence
There was no other way to get in there, but they had the most amazing things in there, not just because it's diamonds, but because you could also tell when someone was in a rough spot and had to pawn something off. Maybe they bought it with some winnings and then realized after the fact they needed the money more. So you've got some weird things in there, like large dollar signs made of various gemstones or something with Elvis face also in gemstones
You know, for as long as I've known your history with being a croupier and my poker playing for some reason that convergence never crossed my mind

What did you call it? Sin City? That's what we used to call our casino as well. So much crime and money and not like, corruptness within the casino. But the people, the punters that came there, big players from overseas. The Malaysians. There was this one guy. We called him Knuckles. He was the bodyguard for this millionaire. They were really criminal. It was written all over them. He came from Malaysia. I think he actually did

He used to play poker, but he always used to have a huge metal suitcase with him as well, just filled with jewelry. And I believe I want to say the percentage was like 75% of the business that he did was out of the poker rooms, either buying or selling. Somebody wanted to pawn off something. He'd be there, ready to give his money. And the winners of the night would often come to him and look for items just like you said
How in the world I'm assuming there was alcohol there. How is anyone still on their feet? Oh, my goodness. I'm sure there are plenty of stories from that party too
You've got the main event, party tables, there's a lot of laughing going on, and they're having a good time. And then you've got those that are extremely silent. So just so many different factors, I suppose that play into that. But it definitely has changed over the years. I can no longer wink or blow a kiss and have someone hand me their chips. Darn it
