This may be idealistic or optimistic of me, but I hope that one day, if we can have this immense appreciation for how dedicated an actor is and how they've immersed themselves in their craft to give us the gift of their performance, then maybe, just maybe, we can recognize the work, the effort, the energy, emotionally, mentally, cognitively, physically goes into the roles of the autistic feels we must fill in order to be accepted or to be able to move through a neurotypical world
