Instead of seeing ourselves as broken or deficient or some piece missing, we see ourselves as diverse and beautiful. Each autistic's constellation of traits and struggles is going to be different. And so there is a phrase that says if you've met an autistic person, you've met an autistic person. We're not the same and yet we're similar

And I see parallels within the neurodiverse community and that kind of progression and some of the same issues and how our expansion, I hope, is growing from, like you said, not just acknowledging existence, but then acceptance

I appreciate how that is you as an individual, christina, and then also how that is part of your autistic experience in this world, in this body, and as you navigate this planet. Yeah. So I just wanted to say that

Hey, Zen mama. It's nice to hear from you. Welcome back and thank you for your kind words. They really were timely. Thank you. You mentioned struggling with not seeing things in your daughter sooner, and I'm sure you know these things

Ah. Hey, Christina. I love this post. I think it's great. So happy. Autism Acceptance Month. I think technically, I think it's the whole month. I know you were talking about the specific day, but anyway, in listening to Your swell, there was one thing when you were talking about the difference between someone saying that we have autism versus we are autistic

And I agree with you, it's helpful, but it's not entirely complete. Either the relating to oneself or even seeing it as a learning what was the word? Style. There we go. Because I feel like, yes, there are learning styles that are a part of being autistic, but there's also experiencing the world. There's making sense of it, piecing it together. You hear people say, it's not who you are, it's just a label
