Is "looking down on" someone unavoidable?

But my question is, if we look up to people, doesn't that innately mean there's going to be somebody we look down on? If we measure this person up here as someone we respect or admire for one reason or another, there are going to be many different ways that we measure that. But if we measure that in such a way, that automatically means there are people who do not measure up to that same person, so inevitably are we not looking down on them

But some people who are really toxic, I can still see some positive traits in them. Like I can see that they're actually struggling with stuff and that they're in pain and I actually have compassion for them. I'm still going to put boundaries in, but I can also see that the people that have a lot of things that I admire, they have their challenges as well. No one's perfect. I'm a socialist
I thought I had sorted through this and kind of had a handle on it before I posted this. Well, and then I listened to yours, and I'm like, not so much. Now I think I have a better handle on it, but I'll probably learn otherwise very shortly. I could be with you. It's a bit reductive
I agree with you regarding categorization merely human. I have a question. Do you think that we can separate humans from the qualities? Because my theory now is that maybe what we are admiring or not admiring are actually traits and qualities and degrees of those. We've sort of reduced it to the person and saying they're less or more than another person. But maybe it's really about the qualities

So I look down upon those people who conform so easily to a lot of the lies of the country and treat people who may be different or think differently or like different things as these bugaboos or these type of monsters that should be exterminated. I looked down upon a lot of dictators, like down upon a lot of murderers, down upon criminals as well
Because it's one thing to believe something, maybe even to talk about it. But it's another thing to act on it and to impose that on others. Yeah. Sorry. I don't know that I have a point here. I'm just thinking out loud
