Inventor flies on his hoverboard for 22 miles! Would YOU?

About three weeks ago, I did a swell on designing cities around people instead of cars and talking about different possibilities for types of transportation around those cities. And I stumbled across a video today that is so fast. Fascinating. Apparently, there's a guy who created a hoverboard. He was just able to use it to fly 22 miles across from France to England. He had to stop in the middle to refuel his pack. And so he stopped on a boat and then took off again

Instead of cars and bicycles and motorcycles, the amount of freedom increases exponentially. It will be cool. Even the feeling of using overboard. It's cooler. The feeling you imagine yourself on that thing. My God. Yeah

Now I have to figure out how do I get my hands on one. You bring up a good point about balance, but I am the one who picked up how to ski after I turned 42. So falling down about, I think, close to almost 25 times to learn how to get off the ski slope, whatever that is cable car as well as falling another 30, 40 times learning how to ski. Not so scared of falling anymore. And I'm so excited about this invention

What a great memory with your dad. Sudo, I love it. So I went looking and I found another article which talks a little bit more about it. So it's not electric. It is fuel based. They use a jet engine turbine line. It can go up to about 10,000ft into the air. Anyway, I will just post a link here, but if you click on the top right corner you'll see those like three horizontal bars

So I came across a different version of the same idea via a friend at Georgia D, and I'm gonna link to it here. This one's still in development, though, and so you can't purchase it yet, but still kind of cool
