ESPN shouldn't be taking sides in Big10 decision to postpone football to spring. That is a conflict of interest

Well, you would have thought that the Big Ten had attempted to kill everybody's pets or something because people just lost their minds. And I don't have a problem with people complaining about that. I love College football. I wish it was coming in in the fall. And of course, there were some other conferences like the SEC and the ACC that elected to go ahead and continue even though a lot of their schools have hundreds of cases, new cases of COVID. But that's them

Any media company that makes money off college sports shouldn't take sides in decision to postpone season due to virus

We know that they're not paying the students. And then they expect an incredible deal from them. And then once they get injured, they're kicked to the curb. It's just an awful industry, I think

Liability

So I just look at it from that case, and you could potentially bankrupt a huge University. And I just think there's too much at risk to play, not even getting into the human factor of putting kids out there in a situation like that, if there's a way you could play that safely and there are sports that I think you can play safely

Not surprised

I thought I'd chime in here as a big Tan Alum and a current employee of a Pac Twelve school. I fully support both conferences choice to not have a fall season. And so, yeah, ESPN weighing in on this decision. And, of course, that's disgusting. There's a conflict of interest. Am I surprised? Not at all surprised. But here's the thing
