The Tempest Day 2: Anticolonialism Rap with Miles Ananda

article image placeholderUploaded by @sebastian
Hello, everybody. We are back with day two. I skipped yesterday, but I am here now. Today we are going to be just continuing through this process. I don't really have a plan plan for the next five minutes, but I have been working on engraving, which is like getting proofreading all of the parts for the musicians. And it's so like intense and I have to make sure everything looks perfect. And the perfectionist side of me is not into that

The second day of my album project - #muisc #literature etc.

Thank you!!

The other thing I was thinking about was when you're talking about the idea of the Tempest being part of the narrative of imperialism and how you want to break that cycle, the way you have the fusion of styles, even breaks that cycle. Everything is kind of meta to me about what you're doing. So it's really going to be exciting to see this unfold in the range of talents you have and in your unbridled sense of possibilities. I think that there's no

And this guy really rhymes with metaphors. He kind of reminds me of atmosphere out of Minnesota, which is a white rapper who I've been a big fan of. But this is good stuff. I'll like the way this guy uses metaphors and flows with the music in the background. So thank you for introducing me to this artist

Hey, Sebastian. Firstly, thank you so much for that great wrap. I mean, you know, being able to integrate our opinions and ideas about the world in a rap, I think it's pure genius. I've attempted it a couple of times, but I've been very, very unsuccessful. So anytime I come across someone who talks about these important things and manages to bring a musical component to it, I look forward to listening to them even more

Hey there. So glad you had a listen. And thank you for inspiring me and helping me do this. You definitely hit the nail right on the head with the different genres. And that was that was totally intentional. As we will see going through the next couple of songs, and I'll talk about my process for those. And once I get done with each of the songs, I'll talk about what I'm doing to move on, you will get intimate with each of the songs

And as for Mumbai, I've checked out a lot of Disney rappers, and I think it's so cool, but I haven't seen any living in Mumbai. So if you've got any recommendation sending my way, because I love to listen to music from all around the world. All right, peace. Bye
