What Helps You Through the Storm

article image placeholderUploaded by @SarahBd1
I don't know, I always feel like she's talking to me when I'm listening to her. So that's been helpful. Specifically more, I guess this week has just been a week, right? Emotions all over feeling a defeat. And I had a doctor's appointment today and I'm over it, folks. I'm over it. I am ready to embrace the celebrations and I guess I can create my own celebrations in the midst of this storm that I'm going through

But oftentimes in retrospect, usually things are clear in the river Mayor. Life was happening for us in those periods and we transform accordingly. So yeah, I hope that is a little glimmer of light to remind you to hang in there, be strong, love yourself, love on yourself and be your own advocate and know that it's just temporary

I'm just going on these karaoke apps and singing in my weird voice just to get through with the grief or the mundane monotony, because I'm not doing anything these days. Anyways, take care

I'd rather lay in bed and sleep than anything, and I know that that is not a good hoping mechanism, apparently. So, yeah, music is my jam. I need to start listening more to music I like to read. Apparently part of my flight skills is finding a book to read and then losing myself. And the characters read it all the way to the end and then get sad that my friends have left me. It's like a never ending cycle

Therapy could be listening to music and dancing around the house. I haven't listened to too much music. I just have been listening to a lot of podcasts and like I said, Abraham Hicks's YouTube channels, so I've been doing a lot of that. But as I was sitting outside today, there was this bush and it was like long grass strands, I guess it was just a big bush and it's a little breezy here

Good afternoon and thank you for your response. Definitely something that I needed to hear. I need to remind myself to be kind to myself. Because often I feel like most of us, we are our worst critics, we are the hardest on ourselves. And for what? We should be the opposite. We should, like you said, be our advocates, be the biggest fighter for ourselves. So thank you for the reminder and I hope you are having a wonderful afternoon

Hey, I know things will get better for you. And that's because, yes, I'm one of those glass half full people, and I am one of those people that understands there is a lesson and a message in every experience. And I appreciate the value of focusing on and the richness of the experience, no matter how it feels. But there's something in it for my evolution. And what I reflect on is the death of my father. That's my first thing I reflect on

JL coming with the wisdom. So I love everybody that responded, and I love their input, and I love that you guys shared personal stories. I know sometimes it's hard because you don't know who you're sharing with, and sometimes it's easy because you don't know who you're sharing with. I really resonated with the story about your father. Father. My condolences. I've lost my father as well

So to do it on a loved one and in such a critical role of a parent so just think about that. You were able to persevere through that. You watched your sister fight valiantly and then rest. Girl, we got this life thing. We've we got it

So for that, I would say finding a project that you can focus on and the focus I'm talking about is bettering yourself. Regarding, like, a career move during my ten year spell, had a really bad heartbreak. I ended up getting two degrees and a CDL license. That focus kind of pulls you back in. It heals you

I don't know, I love it and there's the stories and I don't know, maybe because I've gotten into Yellowstone I'm turning over a newly. I don't know. But anyways, I appreciate that and I would love to hear more about your traveling business as I like to travel and if it's finding new ways and more affordable ways, I am all ears

It helps so much because, like I said, I used to allow anything that happened to me to take over me and my spirit. And me doing that has had so many great outcomes. I had a breakdown probably like, three months ago, two months ago, and it lasted a day, and before it would last about a month or so. It's not longer. Stay encouraged. And I believe that tomorrow, starting February 1, things are going to go much better for you

Well, happy afternoon and happy Tuesday, and thank you for your response. I definitely am working on handling stress, handling adversities a lot better. I was like you as a kid. Swell. I don't think we even have the coping skills to manage our stress, and that's why I'm so adamant about teaching my son how to handle stressful situations
