Did TikTok change the social media experience?

Something that I like about tech talk is when I see people expressing their concerns about working at retail because currently working on retail is very stressing, very draining, and it can be very difficult for people to talk about it. But the question is, have you ever seen any of these tick tocks or videos wandering around the social medias about people quitting their jobs because they are tired of the exploitation and all the pressure that they have?

My theory on that is MySpace sort of lost its way. They tried to turn it into a music platform, which didn't really work out. So Facebook took over essentially the same formula as MySpace. But then they started adding a lot of stuff. They started adding albums, more photos. They started adding video shares, groups, everything. And then towards the peak of Facebook, which if I had to put a year on it, probably say 20, 17, 20, 18

I'll say that I'm just not into the quick videos and catchy little things that happen most of the time on TikTok, but good point. I like that even though you're not a TikTok user, you're interested in kind of how the platform is being used. But yeah, interesting to see how it develops
