How important is sleep in our lives?

According to Ayurveda so what happens when one's body is completely tired? All the sensory and motor organs need to get relaxed and we all go to sleep. So what is the best mantra of a healthy living? Early to bed and early to rise makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise. This mantra should be followed by each one of us for a proper healthy living and lifestyle. But one most important question which we come across is that should we sleep during the daytime or should we day sleep?
