So yesterday I was at an art museum, and I had a scent that I knew was patchouli. And this is particularly important to me because during my course of recovery, I have done smell training, and I have actively tried to smell things and remember what they used to smell like and pull up these memories in my head. And patchouli was one that I kept just drawing a blank on. And it's a distinct smell, and to me, it has a very positive memory associated with it
It smells like something we eat, or it's it smells like something we can't explain, but we don't have a lot of words to describe smells. Anyway, I'm rambling. Thank you for this

And so I think I can count on maybe one hand the number of times we went. It was very few times, but I left a really important memory for me. We went down to a little town called Rosenberg, which is, I don't know, about 40 minutes away or so from here. And every time we went, my grandpa would have a chicken smoking in his smoker on the grill

Ryan, I can't even finish listening to your reply because I think at this point, you've said the phrase chicken smoking in a grill two times. And I keep imagining a chicken with a cigarette standing inside of a grill, like, on top of the grate. And I'm just going to sit with that for a little bit. Thank you

And I remember the first time I smelled an authentic corn tortilla, I was in El Salvador. And yeah, kind of a game changer when I came home. Like, I don't want these tortillas coming out of the Ortega bags at the grocery store. I want to go to an authentic restaurant where they make these things fresh. It is a great flavor, and to me, it brings back really good memories as well

D*** it. Soul skin. Here I here I am trying to, like, share something really intimate and important. Now all I can think of is falcon let's, like horn with a cigar in his mouth. That's pretty funny. I didn't realize I was doing that. Anyway, yeah, so several they call them poosterias little restaurants that kind of focus on just making poopooses. And I was actually first introduced to them by one of my employees

Birdie. I just can't with you. I just can't. Because before I even before I even got to listen to this, I'm looking at the description in the text caption thing, and it says Poopoo. Says poopoo. Says it says Poopoo a bunch of times, and I am not a grown up tonight. Thank you. This thread has taken quite the turn, and I'm very happy. So more good memories. Cheers

Oh, my God. Okay, come to the dark side. Come to the dark side where everyone one has 13 year old boy humor. Oh, my God. I did not even see that. And, God, if there's anything going to make me laugh, it's far humor or someone saying poop. Oh, God
