PTSD recovery - EMDR

article image placeholderUploaded by @RumpelSoulSkin
I used to think that PTSD was something that soldiers who would return for more or maybe moms who had difficult pregnancies and births would experience, but none of or something that I would experience as just kind of an average regular person going to school as a teacher and not being a parent. So I'm 37, and I'm a year and a half into a battle with longcovet, and it has been up and down, and now I'm past year and a half mark

PTSD in the Covid19 age

But anyways, she said, you are most likely bipolar, but it's mild OCD. And, I mean, it was like a couple of things, but I don't know, it makes sense. But she said, you also have a PTSD. And I said, Swell. The first thing that came out of my mouth is I never served like I said, I've never served in the military. How would I have PTSD?

And yeah, same kind of conversation came up about PTSD and I really hadn't thought of a lot of past events in my life as traumatic, but there were and it's kind of funny how this sort of thing just releases itself, I guess. And in terms of the COVID stuff, I'm sorry you're still having I'm sorry you got sick and had to deal with any of it, and it sucks that you're still dealing with some of it
