Is the Reality being Televised?!!!

article image placeholderChoose your Reality
Let's see that now, to be brutally honest here, media does not always broadcast the reality because sometimes reality can be really messy, not for us, for the media people. So why does media mislead? Well, media was formed with a very basic idea of delivering news about the occurring events from all over the globe and to help people get hurt. But when it came into play, it realized that there are a massive number of other factors that might oppose this very ideal and hinder their work

Media consumes us

Hi. I think whatever you just said makes so much sense to me. So I'm a journalism student, and I talk about television and broadcasting so much every day. But this one particular line, that media does not always show reality. This is so true because I feel like in other kind of world that we're living in today media is a very inconsistent society with its focus here and most of the times, instead of us consuming media, it's the other way around

@Akshita Can you please answer🥺

Hi Aksheta and as a journalist, I would like to ask you that since media does mislead, should we be blaming the media, or should we be blaming the authorities? Because I really feel like no journalist wants to ethically or intentionally mislead the public. I really feel that no one has a personal interest here. It's all about the politics and the TRP and the bosses which are in place. We do say that media is misleading, but what we leave out is that why media is misleading
