#AskSwell | What should I watch before doing a media deprivation week?
So I'm doing The Artist's Way course, as invented by Julia Cameron, and I'm coming up on week four, which is also reading deprivation or media deprivation week, which means that starting tomorrow, I will not read anything. I will not watch shows, movies, listen to music, use social media. You nothing until next Monday. So I want to watch something really, really good tonight to kind of send myself off on a good deprivation week. So what should I watch?
Hey, good luck with your week of media deprivation. I think it's really cool that you're doing that. I wanted to recommend a TV show that I've watched recently on Netflix called Sweet Tooth. It's post apocalyptic without being dark or sad. And it's about a world where 98% of the population has been wiped out from a virus and there's hybrid animal human children in the world and no human children anymore being born

There's a lot of psychological warfare and stuff, but overall, it's just a really good show and the acting is top notch and it's also a pretty good short binge. So had I gotten to you early enough, it probably would have been a really good recommendation. Most of the episodes are about a half hour. Sometimes they creep up to like around 40 minutes, but they never get longer than 40 minutes

Thank you. And yeah, unfortunately, I was a bit late to hearing your response, so I'm going to have to wait until next week. But I'm adding that to my list, both the show and the movie. I'm definitely interested in what you're talking about with the post apocalyptic apocalyptic world. Sounds very up my alley. So, yeah. Thank you so much

Oh, yeah. I recently watched Beef, like a couple weeks ago or when it came out. Wow. Is it good? So good. It's the kind of show that I haven't watched in a long time where I really can't tell what's coming next. And that's so exciting. Always. I do love that that strange shift happens five episodes in and then the last three episodes are kind of their own animal. It's super exciting
