My 2 Weeks in the Psych Ward

article image placeholderUploaded by @riverhunter87
I had to cope with the sadness or depression of still being alive. And I had to find myself and find the strength to leave there and face the world that I had prepared myself to leave. And the things that happened and the things I saw in there have changed me. And still, almost ten years later, every day, stick in my head. So I'm going to share some of those with you. We were all sitting in the closed environment

Now, granted, in hindsight, I understand why I was there, but I understand what led me to that way more now, being misdiagnosed as bipolar for so many years, and now finally having my autism diagnosis, I have so much hindsight, of course. It's crystal clear, looking back and being like, I could not process my environment, and I could not distinguish the proper procedures for dealing with interpersonal relationships. That's what led to taking two bottles of pills

Its an odd experience

So I've made this decisions like that, but I've never been put in a psych ward. I probably should have been when I was 16. That actually probably would have been a good idea, but I don't know, it just never happened. But I've made decisions like that. I just wasn't in that kind of situation. But yeah, all the adults are mentally insane though

So I was in there because I was, quote, bipolar and had had a depressive trigger, which is a contradiction. It should have been a dead giveaway. But anyway, yeah, I just wanted to say thank you for responding and thank you for the help that you guys do because, God, we need lots more people to be more understanding and helpful. It is not an easy job and Godspeed. Thanks

I feel i have the right personality to do the job

I've literally walked into wards, just, like, starting the day with my patrol, where you do what's called the unit check and go through the adult ward at one time. One of the nurse, can you come to the Er to pick up some patient belongings a second? Come on, chris temporarin route. Okay, he's got it. Anyways, so the thing is that the remember what I was talking about now? I probably should check up on that. All right
