My brother is married to a white woman and it took him a while to bring her around the family because he was concerned with what would family say, how will she be received? I want my family to be comfortable. I want my girlfriend to be comfortable. He eventually, after about maybe two years of dating her, finally did bring her around for a Thanksgiving dinner. I'll give an example. We went to DC. About two years ago, and I was graduating from my doctoral program, and they currently live in Indiana. And so they flew into DC. I think they drove into DC. And we drove into DC. Coming it from where we are coming from a southeastern state. And so after graduation, we decide that we're in DC. We're going to walk around. We're going to do the whole touristy thing

That's a pretty deep thing to come from a funny story. But it's a white thing is a thing for sure. There's got to be a white person because white people do the weirdest s***, apparently. Next morning, I'm walking the dog that we used to have walked past the neighbor. She walks, as I said, past me as well, when she turns around and goes, oh, hey. I said, good morning. She goes, oh, we noticed because a lot of them walk their dogs in groups. We noticed. And I know who she normally walks with. They weren't with her at that time that there was a very nice vehicle in your yard
