Views.

It might not be a good thing, but the family, the barbecues, the food. I just sort of focused on that, not on the bad actors and what their motivations were and how we've come to this national holiday. But the view from above, as I said on my balcony, it's pretty quiet in the neighborhood. I guess most people are probably at the beach. It's a very temporary day for that or cooking out

You're going to give me the day off, okay, I'll take it. But holidays, it's not a big deal for me, so I don't tend to do the regular going out barbecuing remembering and things like that. I would probably do that if I were serving a different function, different role. But right now it's just nothing. Maybe that's a coping mechanism

And I know, Incidentally, being a black person with the history of slavery in the United States of America, I always felt like guilt for feeling, wanting to feel some kind of allegiance or alignment with this country, mainly because this is the only country that is actually mine. Yes, I'm a descendant of Africa, but I was born in North New Jersey, in the United States of America. This is the only place that I can say it's actually my country

That views a portion of our history that is relative to us is that we feel that trauma, we sense it, we claim it, and we want to do something about it. But then it ends in the movie theater, and that always resonated with me. She said that a lot of times what we do in forms of for lack of a better term, representation, other kind of domesticate the issue or the problem. And I'm all for representation because I deal with imagination

I am loving this "orgie of the Poor." Lol

I really enjoyed this orgy of the poor. Thank you so much for everything. You have been talking about. This idea of challenging symbols, realism, ritual, tradition, other meaning of things, how it's changed and it can change. This is all powerful stuff, man. Wow. Thank you so much. What a gift. I thought it was interesting

Expansion - Thank you.

Thank you, Erin, for introducing me to it. It just reminds me of what life should be, like, actually, conversation, debate, discourse, other expansion of ideas, learning community. I feel like this is what I should be doing with my day every day, which sounds absurd. But anyway, you guys have a great day. Bye
