When you realize you got to "That Age"?

article image placeholderUploaded by @MrBingo
We're not going to turn into that person who worries about their bills and stuff like that. And it's like that age do like we all do. And I just want to ask you guys, and please feel free to share an example or two of when did you realize you became that person? When did you realize you became like your parents? You became like those older people that you told yourself you're like, I'm not going to be like that

I’m the "rich" Auntie/Big Sis 😮‍💨

Yes, this restaurant here in Houston, Texas, compared to the restaurant here home in the state I'm in, or I went to this place in Ohio, in Cincinnati in their shrimp and grits for better than this place, shrimp and critics or this place has the best waffles and the list goes on. Last year I became a co administrator for an affinity based Facebook group for women in the state I'm in

Or like, how can I create, I don't know, some sort of awning structure that will house a jacuzzi, like home improvements, baby. I'm at that point in my life, but I think those are theo two things for me that have really stood out lately. Speaking of kind of feeling old, not necessarily realizing that you're becoming your parents, but I was a teacher for about six and a half years, right around 2014, until just before the pandemic started

So I also do feel like I'm kind of turning into my parents because I think they went through the same thing, and I'm glad I don't have shame around it. I feel like I'm very secure within myself. And I think a lot about the things that I like. And I give A lot Of Thought to Stuff that I Didn't before, and I Think That's Theo difference now. So thank you for your post
