Her recently launched autobiography, aptly titled Limitless, is about being limitless in your thought and spirit and is about her life's inspiring journey with all its ups and downs that culminated in her being honored with the first Padmasteri Award in the aviation category. The book has been published by Redomania and it's an honor to have her join me in conversation as we talk about her inspiring life's journey and her book. Congratulations on the launch of Limitless, Rachel

It was just when I had time at work and there was nothing happening me, I would take out that exercise book and write it in longhand that exercise book and just I kept going through how I started right from the year 1979, how I did my first ten gems, how I got my a license and how the journey continued. And I went on to be a competitor for India. I was the first person in India to have a tricolor parachute

@Ramya

It was in one such demo jumps at Hisar when Scotland leader I'm bad with my names now Kamal O'Brien was there and he happened to while we were getting ready for the Hisa jump, he happened to tell me that he's going to do the North Pole jump or he's going for the North Pole jump. And I said, I wish you had told me earlier that this was in January and he was leaving in April. I hardly had time to raise funds and sponsorship

3.A short excerpt from your book, Limitless? A lesson you'd want your readers to takeaway.

Thank you for that. I'm sure the book is full of such heartwarming, inspiring anecdotes from your life as you pursued your passion relentlessly, despite all odds. So thanks again for sharing some of that with us. I think I will leave you with one final request. Could you possibly read out a short excerpt from your book? Also, if there's one lesson you would want your readers to take away from your life's journey, what would it be?

Rachel LANDING ON POINT ZERO OF THE NORTH POLE on 20 th April 2002

An experience of a lifetime. Our jumpmaster decided the point of exit from the aircraft. When it was my turn, I waited for him to shout Go. While my eyes were focused downwards. My vision from that height, though, didn't stay locked within the chunks of the snow scattered below. It was on the surface of the frozen ocean that I could see my entire life inscribed in uneven crest and trough. So this is from the first chapter and it's about me landing on the iceberg

A Lifetime experience. Unimaginable and Unthinkable. Staying 6 days on the Iceberg in Minus 55 degree Temperature, with one proper meal a day.

So when you make up your mind and you are determined to do something and fulfill a dream that you have in your heart, nothing is impossible. Thank you, dear listeners
