A good day for gardening

article image placeholderLettuce saplings, with a few true leaves 🍃...
And I was very surprised that they still looked so fresh at the end of the day. They did look a bit droopy a few days back, but are definitely looking a lot better today. But I must say that the broccoli plants have kind of given up poor things, but yes, we watch, listen and learn from the plants themselves. So I just took a minute out of my day to share a bit about my gardening experiments. There will definitely be updates to follow

@gardening

I have to follow up on a comment I made to you a while back about my squash plant that I decided to take out of the ground. It was 9ft long, but the squash was so bitter that I needed to get rid of it and plant something else

Plants I nurture vs the ones I don't...just why??

Those lead samplings, they look so cute. Anybody else have this problem? Like the plants you spend a lot of money on and you wish that they grow, but they don't and they okay for whatever reasons, they die. And then you have random seeds from the fruits or vegetables you have in your house and you just throw them because you have an empty pot and they start sprouting because this is what happens to me. At least I way too much

I did notice that a few weeks ago, some of the chilies were coming in, so that was really cool. And we also started growing roses and roses. The ideal time for them is actually in the summer and the heat. So contrary to the lettuce because they don't grow in the winter when it's quite cold. So now that it's almost summer and it's spring right now, the roses were able to grow really well. And I think it's really cool and fun on gardening
