My Favourite Show

article image placeholderUploaded by @Raghavkatta
Hi guys. Welcome back to my Swell. So in today's world, I'm going to be talking about my favourite show that has been favorite since the time I washed it. I have watched, like new, countless shows. I don't even know the number. But even after watching all of them my favorite has been Friends. And what symbols. Even it's not relatable. And you know all the characters. Joey, Chandler, Phoebe, Monica, Rachel, Ross

#justforfun #swell #sayitonswell #friends #whatsurpov What’s Your Favourite Show???

No, it's not Boundary person, it just is very influential. It is the single handedly the most influential show. Yeah, even Seinfeld could not beat it, even though it was released earlier than Friends. But yeah, right now, currently, no, I do not like Friends and there are so many better shows than Friends, even with laugh tracks, there are many better shows than Friends, especially Seinfield and this is completely my opinion, please do not take offense to it

Hi, Arith. Thanks for replying on Swell. Well, you know, I completely respect your opinion about, you know, friends. I have many of my friends who have the same opinion about the show. It's okay. This is a very subjective thing. Even I have watched many shows, like many sitcoms, and that includes Seinfeld. And I really like Seinfeld, B, 99, DBT and many more

So all these are like for the basic issues of the American community and these characters are in their own bubble and that is what it feels like for the long term aspect of the show and for its long term running. Like for example, if you read the show after ten years later you realize that what the show is talking about is very short sighted and not something which you can ponder about even after decades. And I think that's the biggest problem

I know it's not the best, but it's more of a comfort to me when you're talking about Friends, that feeling that you have when you come home to me, friends feels that way. I've heard so many people about it that works with the abrupt laughing noise and that. So, honestly, I would just like to say is that when we first started actually watching the series and stuff, for me, Friends was the first or second series that I've been stoned

You might have a different opinion, but that's what I feel that it does not have any relation with the humor of them. Secondly, okay, it might be possible that all the shows that I said, you don't like them. The humor that clicks me doesn't like you. That's what I said in the previous reply, right? Yeah. And definitely Office is on my watch list, so it's been there since really long and I do have to watch it

And that's why these people are like friends a lot. Friends as basic cringy dialogues, cheesy lines. I feel I don't really care about all of that. What I cared about is that thing should make me laugh. That is it. And it does. It does every time. Every time it makes me laugh. So this line was best. It might not be the best, but it provides the comfort, and that's what I need. Swell. Thanks for the buyer

It is a mid show, it is extremely overrated and it is a show which is funny. Yes, I agree. But it's very superficial. And in the long run of things, in the long term round of things, in the grand scheme of things, it's not that important. It's only influential. Also, I think the other person replied I'm really sorry, I do not remember your ID. But yes, I completely agree with you

But again, as my main point was the entire humor of Friends or the entire comedic selling point is what the antics play out between these characters and after a point of time, it just grows stale. It's not refreshing. It's not something which you feel as if it's something you cherish, but again, it's not refreshing at all. After a point of time, it's the same six people and they don't grow that well. That's the problem

Hi raghav. Even my favourite show name like I can watch it any time and I would consider it the bestest show ever created because I don't know why but it is my favorite show and anybody can I totally get into that comedy so I can anytime watch it. And when I started watching it, it was not that same like the first episode I got bored. I don't know why so I thought I shouldn't watch it

So not even one African American person shown in that entire series? Not even one, if you think about it, not even one. So it was totally and so it's not appreciated that much in the US. Apparently, but there were points in the entire show. The female actor, she's, like, very famous, and there's this Indian guy, this very genius guy, and they're like, science guys, and one of their girlfriend, like an actress or something like that

As an Indian student I was able to really relate with jorah and figures and now Friends, apparently I am in college and I am leaving, somewhat leaving that life. What correctness in trends are living like they are living with each other and they have friends. They do stupid things. I really want to do that with my friends and yeah, the show is absolutely great

Hi, Ray. So you're a blab. And what I feel is, firstly, I'll tell you what, you know, I've even I watched Friends four to five years ago, and after that I watched a lot of Staterooms. For me, the humor inference still exists, but I think the last that you're talking about that seems you find them frustrating. You don't like them now. So I feel that humor after a certain time becomes obsolete

So this is this guy's sister or this is this guy whatever duration. Okay, so it would be difficult to understand. Secondly, I do agree. I think this is true for all CGS. If you watch them again and again, watch their episodes again and again. For me, friends have not become stale for now and my perspective might change. But I think if you watch anything open, repetitively, then it's obviously going to be irritating. Annoying. You won't like it

Hi there. Well, you know, I can understand your feelings because I face the same problem. I mean, I know I'll call this problem, but, you know, the first episode Bobbled me that's so hard not to continue for the first three months. But then after, when I started watching it regularly, that was my home. That was my comfort zone. And Friends is love. And for me, Friends is the best

@varunkaich

So at that point of time, I don't think Indians would have given so much importance by these people. And Big Bang Theory has been created, has started in 2012. So you can understand the time difference, right? Yeah. I hope you understand. And please do listen to Mother Souls. Goodbye

Hi Manav. Thanks for paying on as well. You know, I completely agree with you. Friends have, you know, become a part of my life since the day I washed it. And and it's a comfort show. And it would be a dream for me to meet the friends and the same characters in my real life. I would be so grateful to God if they become best friends. People like their friends. Okay, I think you understand friends is just bad just for main kilowatts

Hey Varun, whatever you just said my bahi kenah chair a sharu say lack of diversity. When you do not have proper diversity, when you do not have a lot of characters, you don't show a lot of backgrounds, then your comedy becomes boring. It starts getting to to only a particular group of people with us first class American problems, the proper American routine of teenagers and how they transition into adults

Yeah, I really was just hoping this discussion and back and forth we are having on Swell was just to completely vent out our opinions and get into the real matter of it. But, yeah, I mean, I'm really surprised because whoever I have met, after a period of time, they have grown to dislike friends. But okay, it's okay. No, it's completely your opinion. It's your favorite show. Obviously, no one is going to judge you for it

Hi. Are you? Well, you know, you you might have gotten a little, you know, competitive. I don't think competitive is the right word. You might have you know what? While giving the answers, because, as you said, you found the fact that I have watched a lot of sitcoms, and still I like Friends the most. Baffling, right? Swell. I'll say this again. I've said this many times

Yes. Yes, totally. Yes. Agreed with each. And everybody said, this is my favourite show. To, you know, you can't pick any character from it. You know, like, this is your favorite character as it Phoebe something Ross or something. Rachel is something Monica guy or something. Everyone has something in there. It's very unique. The way they have actually portrayed the character was actually so mesmerizing and in any kind of mood I love to then watch Friends

Their problems actually not problems, but the way they react to their problems is the same reaction as we as most of us give. That's what makes the show the best for me. Exactly. For me, it's a really subjective thing. And I feel for me, it's really the best show. And I've watched sitcoms. I'm telling you, I've watched a lot of sitcoms and I haven't fun anything. Like Friends. Yeah
