So I just wanted to know what you do for your studying method so that I could learn from it or even try it out and see if it could help because I have an upcoming midterm soon. So I thought I'd ask on Swell to see if I could use your studying methods to help me. Hopefully

Let me know if you have any studying methods or advice that can help me out :) Music: "By my side" instrumental vr. By Junny. #studyingadvice #student

hope this helps!

Instead, what I do is I'll just start working on it and I won't tell myself that the hour is up. So I'm done standing for math. What I do is I keep going until I think I've done enough instead of setting a time because I feel like I'm more productive when I say, oh, I'm going to study until I understand this lesson or until I finish this homework instead of saying, I'm just going to study for an hour. Yes

But one thing that I've noticed is to try and have the things that you do when you study be consistent. So what I mean by that is, for example, if you listen to music while studying, listen to the same music while you study, so that when you're listening to music, you're like, okay, now I have to study your brain just kind of knows because you've done it for so long, and the style of note taking should be the same all the time

Whatever you do, do not wait until the night before to start studying!

And what I mean by that is if you're asked to maybe explain or elaborate, you might not be able to do it to the degree that you want to because you only have that skimmed information stored in your brain. I would always start, like two weeks early studying for tests. And by the time I got to the test, I felt very confident. Not always did

And I'd say another really good thing, too, is kind of just reminding yourself why you're studying and that it's not just about because it's easy to get really caught up in numbers and grades and stressing over how well you're going to do on the exam or whatever. But I feel like just reminding yourself that you're taking courses that you enjoy and that you're doing something that you're passionate about

Hello there. It's been a long time since I was a student, but things have changed. Techniques have changed. A thing about learning is do you know what type of learning suits you better? Is it a visual? Do you learn by wrote or by writing down lots of notes? Maybe a very useful book I read was Master Your Memory by Tony Bozan and his Mind Map System. I found that was very helpful
