Any book recommendations?

article image placeholderBooks, books, and more books :) Taken by @r_sylvar
So in my last post, I mentioned how much I enjoy reading, and it's something I love doing whenever I have the free time. So I was wondering if you can give me any book recommendations or just share your favorite read so that I could give it a try. Because because I love discovering new books or trying out new series because it's something that I might enjoy. Or it could be my new favorite book

I'm always looking for new series or books to enjoy, so let me know what your favorite read is :). Music: "You make me" by Day6, Guitar cover by Fein.

The Plotters by Un-Su Kim, if you haven't read it already

Hey. So the book that I would recommend is the plotters by Unzu Kim. This is actually a book that Aye gave me. She hasn't read it yet, but I'll definitely give it back to her to get her to read it. It's basically about assassins, and it's told from the point of view of one assassin dude, and it kind of goes over his life and just different events that happen throughout it

But I thought the storyline was really interesting, and it's mainly just kind of not like a memoir, but it's kind of, like healthy type stuff because it talks about his brain disorder. And I think he'd be really interested in it because I don't know, I found it interesting. So I'm pretty sure you're you'd be interested in too, but yeah, Almond, the book that I was recommending before on myself

I'd recommend The Lost Track of Time by Page Britt. It's not really anything high IQ, but it's still one of my favorite books. And Google describes it as a magical fantasy and all other allegorical cautionary tale. A feast of language, a celebration of creativity. This dazzling debut novel is poised to become a story for the ages

The Omnivore’s Dilemma / The Broken Earth Trilogy

I'm going to recommend one fiction and one nonfiction. The nonfiction is The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan, and in it he picks four different foods and and just researches how they get from the Earth to his plate, like the entire history and lifecycle of food as it grows, as it's processed, as it's consumed. Pollen is a really interesting writer. He loves the science, he loves the politics, he loves eating fun all around the fiction

Oh, my God. Okay. I feel like all of the books I've read. You've already read, like Divergent. And what else have I even read? It's been so long, Harry Potter. And like all of those, like, kind of big, popular books. But I don't know if you've read Handmaid's Tale, but I think I'm going to start it tonight or sometime here in the future. And I've heard it's really good

The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath

Please read The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. It is my favorite book. I read it in like, what was it like April ish or May? And I already told you about this in like, one of our calls. But like, she just her writing is beautiful. She described the indescribable, and it's her real life story. Like she was the main character. She's a poet. And this is the only book that she wrote. So the writing is beautiful
