"Mirrored Perspectives the Root of Self-Distruction" written by R. Sylvar

article image placeholderUploaded by @r_sylvar.onyx
My lonesome self mourn worries are for the sensitive. But what about those behind locked doors? Silent screams echoing dreadful memories as they buried deep beneath my core. Ghostly times and unhinged paranoia induced hallucinations filling up a tone only room for my deceased only place that missed by illusion a place I would soon call home. Folklore. Behold as the malicious skinwalkers approach my stencils configuration outgrown for sways and whispers as the wicked replicated immense desperation. Mirrored perspectives before our eyes they transform our blind judgment filled with lies

Music: "Apres un Reve" by Gabriel Fauré. Credits to "A Streetcar Named Desire" by Tennessee Williams for the "Flores Para Los Muertos" inspo. #poem

Love it!!

And, yeah, the very first part you said in the last twelve paragraph were, like, the same. But with the, like, that realization in the very last line, it was so cool. So cool

Amazing!!!!

Hey, Romessa, I really liked your poem, like, the poem you read. I thought it was a beautiful poem. And I really like the music that you played in the back. I think that was like a great idea for a first swell. And you should like, do more, more of like these readings in the future. Like poems and things. Very nice

10/10 I love

That was so good. That was so beautiful. Your writing kind of reminds me of Sylvia Plath. You should check out her poems. Like she kind of like does kind of like grotesque writing. But she how do you describe this? Like she makes everyday objects into horrifying things. She said the smiles of her husband and her child were like hooks on her skin that were pulling. I don't know that your writing reminds me of her writing. She's really pleased to check it out

Wow :)

Hi Armesa, I really, really enjoyed your poem and I think it was so well done. And I love how you thought of adding background music to it as well. It just made it seem much cooler. And overall, I think it was a really, really good poem

Your reading was really great. The pacing was slow. I could hear every word very clearly. And with the music in the back, it definitely felt very cinematic. I could totally picture that in other movie, the language was extremely sophisticated. Very Oscar wild. I think Region said it was like Sylvia Plath. I agree. Yes. Please keep doing these poems. Love hearing your writing. So much so. Yeah. Thanks so much for sharing
