What are your favorite queer podcasts?

Recently, I discovered a podcast that I've absolutely fallen in love with called Multi Memory. Here's how the podcast describes itself. Multi Amory offers support and advice for modern relationships. Whether you are monogamous, polyamorous is swinging, casually dating, or if you just do relationships differently, we see you and we're here for you. Everything that they cover is super diverse. And I think really appealing, whether you identify as clear or not. But I definitely would consider this a queer podcast

I can't determine if that was the intent of the podcast makers or not. But there are the cultures who are not American who have been practicing these relationship dynamics either because they were not completely conquered by Christians, or they were able to maintain those dynamics despite being colonized by Christians. But I wouldn't call those cultures queer. I would just call those cultures those cultures

@damonnomad

So I'd love to hear if you haven't thoughts about that and definitely let me know if you have any more podcast recommendations

Oh, and I also want to say thank you for the book recommendation. I haven't heard of this book and it sounds really intriguing. I would like to read it. I also want to recommend it to a friend because I have a friend who is a mother and was talking about just how challenging is living in the US where the nuclear family is pretty much predominant, especially during the Pandemic, when we need a lot more support and social resources

You may also try to look for some of her interviews on maybe a positive app like Stitcher. She has a few, but her work is very revolutionary. It's very interesting

So it's really interesting to see the different perspectives from where they've both come from, both being queer. The other thing that's really great about it is that they both have come from situations where they had very upbringings and so they didn't have much in the way of any sex education in regards to queer people, queer relationships

@damonnomad thank you!

Thank you so much for another amazing suggestion. I'm really looking forward to digging more into her work. Anything about resisting colonialization or decolonization is so, so important to me. And I'm constantly trying to learn more and read more scholars, writers, thinkers, filmmakers, whatever people do across the board, I that are interested in it as well. So I really appreciate the recommendation. And I'll definitely post anything by her that I end up discovering that maybe we could dig deeper into for discussion

@NLOFrank thank you!

This is another great recommendation. Thank you so much for adding this to all these resources. I feel like we're collecting this conversation. Please, everyone, keep them coming so we can refer back to them and also keep the discussion going. Thanks so much, Tasha
