I hate the left more and more

article image placeholderUploaded by @Professor42
My apologies. It probably sounds like I'm shouting, but I am very passionate about this at the moment because I don't get it. I don't get yes, the right is extreme, but what the f*** is with the left? Every time somebody says anything at all about possibly any idea whatsoever in regards to the right, they're crucified. They're canceled. They're an extremist. They need mental health. What are your thoughts on this? What are your ideas?

This swell may seem as though its out of left field (pun intended) give me your thoughts on politics in general

And now it's been the case, I believe, for I could be wrong, but I do think that it's been the case for several decades, if not more, that the youth tend to be a lot more liberal and as you get older you start to become a little more conservative. I mean, I guess that's to be expected. And I do also think that had this social media been available even 100 years ago, it would have been the same

They don't see any chance of reasoning with someone who has polar opposite political views. And it's unfortunate that it is that way, but it's kind of like a programming and conditioning way of being in America with our political system, as you say with Elon Musk. Everybody loved him at one point. He was an iron man, for crying out loud. He was practically the left Tony Stark, basically

@Professor42 I wish people would think over react

And I think our social media is able to divide that and show you the things that are going to if it makes you mad, if you react to it somehow, I think you're going to see more of that. But I'm just telling you, I see it from both sides, and both sides enrages me. It really does. But I think we're one of the main problems here that social media introduces is that it's so easy to knee jerk reaction

@Professor42 laptop issue

So, like I said, I have no idea whether that entered Twitter's mind, but if I were in Twitter, that would have been a discussion point that I would have had at the time that that came out. If this is misinformation, we need to get it off our sites, or else will be in violation of European law. That being said, I hope we get to the end of this soon

@sudha

Hey there, Sudha. Hopefully for the longest time, I got to say I've been hesitant to say your name because I certainly don't want to pronounce it incorrectly, but hopefully I've pronounced it correctly. I just wanted to get back to you and say, yeah, I agree with you. I'm also going to be honest and say I'm not an expert on politics, so I'm not going to pretend that I know everything. I'm still learning

That's not to say at all I endorsed him, but that sort of run for presidency really was like, in my mind. I guess it really came down to I guess anybody can run. Now a janitor can run. Who knows? I don't even know. An archaeologist can run. Not to sort of downplay them by any means, but when Trump came in, he really didn't have any sort of political background. I often use this example a lot

@Phil

Phil, I wanted to respond to you, and I think all I really want to say is I would love to hear some swells from you on any political issue or really anything in general where there's a divide, because you are, again, as you said, an independent voter, which I do like. And I would love to see some counter arguments from both the left and the right. I got to be honest, a lot of my friends are right leaning
